JAMBOREE
FAN EXPERIENCE
The weather was absolutely perfect, and we all had a great time. From
locals Love You Long Time to headliners Dashboard Confessional and Toad
the Wet Sprocket, the bands at Jamboree Music festival put on a fantastic
show. We want to hear your story. Starting this week, we will gather pictures,
stories, and concert reviews from fans who attended the festival. If your
submission is selected, we will post it on the website along with your
name and you will receive 2 free tickets to an upcoming show. Whether
its a camera phone picture of your friend dancing to the Aquabats, a review
of The Format set, or fan art of the festival bear mascot, we want to
see it or read it.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Email submissions to info@postfontaine.com. We would prefer image files
in .jpg, .gif or .tif format, but send what you have. Articles and reviews
can be attached word documents or pdf's or included in the body of the
email. We're not looking for books, two or three well written paragraphs
will do.
WINNERS:
We will still accept submissions for the next little while, but we couldn't
help but post some of the great stuff we have received so far. Thanks
to those who have submitted, and congratulations to the winners below.
If we like your submission, we will post it along with those shown below.

JAMBOREE: BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE

Honestly, what can get better than a whole afternoon of great music? Nothin...
Jamboree was one of the best nights of my life. The artist selection was
picked very well. I was especially impressed with Love You Long Time,
Aquabats, Lucas Reynolds, Limbeck, Dashboard Confessional, and The Format.
I originally got tickets just to see The Format, but even if they hadn't
played, it totally would have still been worth going! (Not to say The
Format weren't good, they were even better than I expected) They sounded
just as good live as they do in recorded tracks, and Nate Ruess pulled
it off with his flawless voice.
Aquabats played a lot of sweet "pumper upper" songs and had
me laughing the whole time they were on stage.
Love You Long Time was an awesome discovery for me. I love their stuff!
I went and bought their cds right after I heard them play, and I haven't
been dissappointed.
Dashboard had so much energy, it blew me away. I really hope Jamboree
becomes an annual thing because it was perfect.

6-19-2007 Today Jamboree Music Festival 2007 was announced on The End 101.9 KENZ with our current confirmed line up. General Admission and VIP tickets will go on sale on June 23rd and will be available at all Ticketmaster locations, Thanksgiving Point Box Office, and ticketmaster.com.
